RTS is off to our 16th Consecutive Sail Port Stephens!

Our Participation and Support

As an ardent supporter of Sail Port Stephens since its inception, we have competed in every regatta in our various Rolly Tasker Sails equipped yachts all known as 'Antipodes' – originally a Beneteau 42s7, which morphed into a First 47.7, then into an Oceanis 523 and more recently, an Oceanis 45.

As has been the case for some time, many of the yachts participating in 2024 Sail Port Stephens will carry a Rolly Tasker sail or full sail inventory such as Dean Dransfield’s Beneteau Escape.  In addition to traditional upwind sails the most common sail additions are RTS Symmetrical and Asymmetrical Spinnakers and furling Code O and Code C downwind sails, most of which are available in a range of stock sizes to suit a range of yachts from 25’ to 65’.

Over the past 6 years Rolly Tasker Sails has also been a direct supporter of the event, providing document sleeves, sail bag prizes and sail discounts for all competitors and crew, which we’ll being doing again next month.  Don’t forget to grab your RTS discount voucher from your document folder for great savings across all of our products.

Innovative Rolly Tasker Products

Over the years, Rolly Tasker has also been a product innovator.

Dimension Polyant Lite Skin - our new range of dark grey Dimension Polyant Lite Skin upwind sails are a great combination of top performance and looks at a competitive price.

Code C Downwind Sails - more recently, you’ll see a number of yachts carrying a furling Code C sail, which was developed by Rolly Tasker as a reaching and running sail, essentially a mixture of a Code O and an Asymmetrical Spinnaker.  This type of sail is also ideal for short-handed sailors, where performance/ease of use is paramount.

Top-down Furling Asymmetrical Spinnaker – our latest innovation is our top-down furling Asymmetrical Spinnaker which combines all of the benefits of a traditional downwind furling sail with the power of a spinnaker while offering up to 15% more sail area.

Catch up with Greg while at this year’s event to talk about your needs further and how Rolly Tasker Sails can assist with premium sail cloth and full CAD design at prices that won’t break the bank.  It may be just a new Lazy Jack Boom Bag, a replacement spinnaker, or a high-performance wardrobe.  Whatever your needs, Rolly Tasker Sails can assist.
